Design Demands Dedication – An Interview with Acetra’s Head of the Project Team

At Acetra, we’re not just building structures; we’re shaping the future of sustainable design. Each of our projects is a testament to expertise, precision, and a passion for craftsmanship.

In the latest issue of m-Kvadrat magazine, discover the journey of Janko Maksimović, our Head of the Project team, who leads groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of sustainable construction. From compact residences to grand-scale constructions, Janko and his team are dedicated to delivering innovative, environmentally responsible solutions that make a lasting impact.

Our approach to Sustainable Construction: Meet Janko Maksimović

Our dedication and focused expertise in timber structures have enabled us to be selected as designers for significant mass timber buildings across Europe and beyond.

Nearly all of our projects—almost one hundred percent—are timber structures made of mass timber (glulam and cross-laminated timber), including residential buildings, commercial properties, industrial halls, hotels, schools, and various public facilities.

Currently, among other projects, we are involved in the design of a large-scale timber complex that forms a small city within a closed, self-sustaining system. With sustainable and eco-friendly developments becoming an increasing trend, we anticipate more projects of this kind.
