Why is CLT the Material of the Future?

The latest issue of Industrija Magazine highlights the key advantages of cross-laminated timber (CLT) through project examples from around the world.

Acetra, a leader in timber structure design for over 16 years, showcased the environmental benefits of CLT through the example of the KF Skolen wooden school project in Stavanger, Norway.

Why Is CLT Leading the Way in Sustainable Design?

The use of CLT in the construction industry offers numerous environmental benefits, especially when it comes to designing buildings such as schools and educational institutions.

One outstanding example of CLT application is a project developed by Acetra in Stavanger, Norway. KF Skolen, a timber school composed of four multi-story CLT buildings, is designed to accommodate 364 students and 50 staff members. It stands as a model of sustainable and functional design.
