As part of the ππππ’π₯ππ§π’π₯ Project, Acetra took part in a unique architectural βTreasure Huntβ β a guided tour of the π ππ ππΌπΏΔπΌπΉ building, led by architect Milka Gnjato, founder of ZABRISKIE studio and the visionary behind this striking project.
Organized by the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Forestry, the visit offered more than a simple tour. It was an invitation to rethink the relationship between sustainability and aesthetics – which, as Milka put it, βare not opposing forces, but ones that can complement each other.β

Through the example of MIA DorΔol, Milka shared how reusing old brick not only helped shape the buildingβs unique identity but also reduce CO2 emissions compared to newly manufactured. Shaping the custom-made faΓ§ade demanded time, skill, and a thoughtful approach to material and design – resulting in a luxury structure with character.

Acetra CEO, Dusan Milutinovic, joined the conversation with students, highlighting how important it is for young architects to stay curious, challenge conventional choices, and explore the possibilities of sustainable materials – especially timber – as key drivers of the future of construction.

An inspiring exchange of ideas, made possible by the hosts, University of Belgrade, Faculty of Forestry and Milka Gnjato, through a shared passion for sustainable architecture. Events like this spark the curiosity and collaboration needed to shape a more conscious built environment.
