The unique design of this cottage features a gable roof that seamlessly follows the natural contours of the land, creating a dynamic flow from the lowest to the highest point. The entryway and storage area are located on the first level, while the living room boasts a panoramic view of the valley on the upper level. The multi-level layout of the cottage allows for rooms with varying heights and personalities.
To preserve the beautiful brook running through the property, the cabin was elevated on pillars to minimize impact on the surrounding terrain. The remaining structure sits atop a sturdy concrete foundation.
It’s a ground floor house with very demanding shape of the roof. The structure consists of load bearing CLT walls, CLT roofs, glue-laminated timber beams and steel beams. The base has a demanding shape with dimensions 21.70m by 12.50m, and max. height of 4.0 m.
The roof structure consist of seven planes. Six out of seven planes have one common point. The assembly work was done very carefully.
Building is designed, produced and assembled at the end of 2020.
